Can't get my subject modem to work...
Its internal and I hooked it up like the manual said but....
The computer recognizes the drivers but says there is no modem????
The modem is set in place good and it recognizes the modem during the instalation of the software but when it reboots, it tells me no modem.
Am I the retarded one or my computer.
Any tips from the masses?

Are you sure you don't have to install the drivers first? I have a 3com and I had to install the drivers and then shut the pc down and put the modem in the system. After installing the modem, it was detected and setup finished installing the drivers.

Dunno if it's the same for you but you might want to give it a shot.

Also, you might need to put the DSL modem in a bus matering PCI slot. This is usually one or two of the first slots nearest the AGP slot. After you install the modem, go into bios and force an update ECSD.

One other thing, what OS?
