AOM not inistialing
 

Ok heres the scoop

Im on my friends HP

1.4 ghz
512 ram
60 gb hd
CD rw

in some ways better than mine unfortunatly but fortunatly my friend is a computer idiot who does deserve this machine :lol:
Any way back to the point

We started up AOM and after the intro movie stuff it turns the screen on and off (kind of like that annoying click click sound from your turn signal)

We went to the microsoft support FAQ and it had this specific problem

None of the solutions work (i wonder why? :P )

Anyone who has any ideas dont reply here email my friend

graphics problem.... update drivers? any AOM updates? what Dx he using? 8 or 9? if 8 try 9?

we did update dx to 9 but he has some funky gfx card

this is why you make your own comp
