Radeon 9500 to FireGL M1
This Korean Site (English Version) is theorizing that a Radeon 9500/9700 can be transformed into an ATI FireGL M1. It goes off the same principle as with the 9500 to 9700 transformation, but instead there's another resistor that apparently looks like it controls the FireGL Options.
Yes, there is a difference! You will find that the Radeon 9xxx series has a resistor at position 4-5, while the FireGL has one at position 5-6. Though some bios work still needs to be done, this tweak unleashes even more of the R9500's great potential. |
