differences in TEMP monitoring
Motherboard Monitor says 48C and the Nexus probe mounted on the bottom of my heatsink says 30C. Which one would be the most accurate?
Both temps are under extreme load. |
mobo
because the sensor is located below the CPU so its the actual CPU temp as for the nexus, depends on where u put it its probably not touching the die and is probably touching the heatsink so its much cooler than actual CPU temp |
yeah the mobo, man that nexus thing is way off *LOL*
|
wow the heat pipe isn't much better. I would try the sunflower again and see what happens.
|
what are you talking about..?? we are talking about a fan controller and temp monitor, not heat sinks *L*
|
oh I know.
Is there a way he could place that sensor completely under the cpu where the mobo sensor is or would that be ti hard or just plain impossible? |
i dont think getting the sensor completely under CPU would be possible because the wire for the thermocouple isnt thin enough to squize thru the CPU pins...
stick with mobo sensor since it already has one you can look on the mobo's website for downloads of programs or use MBM if it can grab a correct reading from sensor |

most of thermaltake stuff are pretty much useless compared to alot more products out there
its because their stuff is cheap for comp stuff, i would go for Made in Taiwan instead of Made in China |
Yup, I've lost all respect for anything made by Thermaltake. The only good thing I got from them is the 49CFM fan off the Volcano 7+ which I promply put on my CoolerMaster Heat Pipe. :P
