Yep but it is a ghetto version, expect the real brand names to go for at least $50-$75 more.

Uh:
"Maximum 2D Resolution (at 32-bit color) 1600 x 1200 Maximum 3D Resolution (at 32-bit color) 2048 x 1536" Is that true? If so: A. Why in the world would they only support a 2D (desktop) resolution up to 1600? 1600 is becoming moderately commonplace for people running 19" monitors and higher, which is a growing population. If you think about the audience who will be bying a GeForce FX, it's going to be the elite users, to boot. They're likely to have nice hardware (>19" mointors), and likely to run high resolutions. I find that either inaccurate, or absurd. B. Why on earth would the 3D resolution be higher than 2D? I don't even feel the need to explain that one. Regardless, eviltechie's comment about the price is the same as mine. I thought retail was going to be $499...but I haven't been following it that closely. Who knows. I do know, however, that I'm considering getting one. My tax refund checks should be here by then...hehe. |
yeah for those who wants the top, FX might be the choice
for those on a tighter budget such as me... may want to wait till 9500 drop a little more and do the conversion although it is cheap for what one can get out of it already its just that id still like to wait because my Ti4200 isnt far off yet... even though all these technology is advancing so fast, i can still handle it!  :P i wonder what the good version of FX will be selling for?... so is march the earliest it will come out? |
