OC'ing and 3dmark
 

I have an athlon xp 2000+ and an ati radeon 8500 128mb card(duh look at my signature). But for some reason (might be vid card) my 3dmark score just barely reaches 8,000. What would be the easiest and safest ware to overclock my cpu? Thx
(just look at signature 4 more specs if u need it)

It is obviously the video card that is limiting your score. Never having a budget cpu (amd) I dont know what to tell you except i've heard that some are locked *like my video card* and that heat is a huge issue, deal with your video card first. 8)
