does the conversion work?

Also, could you provide a link to the actual item and not the Pic? I think I might order me one.

Nevermind... I found it. It's the Saphire 9500.

I should have it in 2 days.

right on man, hope the card works well! From what I have seen the ones layed out like the 9700 are the best like this one :) After ya redo it and all let me know what your clocks are and I will match them with my 9700 so we can directly compare chips / ram and mobo's against eachother >:)

Right on bro!

Damn AI, are we the only two that ever buys shit and does anything with it? :P

on this site it seems like it *L* everyone else seems afraid to go overclocking nuts! I can honestly say I have never lost a chip to overclocking and only 1 vid card because of a dumb mistake :)

CiKoTiC 01-21-2003 07:14 PM

A long time ago, I had an old Intel 300 overclocked for about a year before it finally buned out. Never had anything else since. :)

I would have to say overclocking is "safe" in general for I have owned probably 15+ mobo's and about that many chips and vod cards with no issuies :)

CiKoTiC 01-21-2003 07:31 PM

Yea, as long as you know the basics to overclocking it's pretty safe.

Heck, most of the processors out there are only overclocked cousins of previous versions anyways.

exaclty, to bad most have not figured it out *LOL* Heck I am almost to the point of thinking chips are hard to kill, I have dropped them, cut and reconnected bridges, overclocked the heck out of them ect... and they keep on trucking!~
