Slow or downright stubborn sites today

Anyone experiencing an unusual slow or non-functional internet today?
For example, you can get to Yahoo's main page and that is all. Can't leave it to follow any links. Several of the other sites I use (cj.com, for example--necessary for the linking of an item on my site) is also down.
