laptop buying uncertainty

I am interested in buying a laptop mainly for playing games but i dont want to spend much money
well i was looking at the alienware 51m whatever it is but that is rather pricey
well could someone who has it tell me what they think about it
with my config it was 2500 with 3 year warranty cheap processor.. no point in getting good proc on 2100ram

and also i heard that there are clones out there for like under 2grand. could someone point me somewhere or tell me about something please because i dont want to end up with a crappy cheap laptop heh

I like Dell's, my brother in law just got an 8200 with 2.0Ghz proc, 384?meg's of ram 40 gig harddrive and Radeon 9000 w/64meg's of RAM. Just and I mean just under 2 grand. Shipping and all, XP pro 1 year warranty. Gotta catch them on a good deal, but all in all they got good computers. Just my $.02, here's one http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...c=8TWOB8&s=dhs 2.4 Ghz proc, 512 meg ram, 40 gig harddrive, radeon 9000 and cd-rw/dvd combo drive. just under $2,000 after mail in rebate, and free shipping built in Nic and modem but that pretty much standard anymore. you'll have to configure it manually but that's what it worked out to for me.

the first of those is a Clevo (the manufacturer of alienware)

the second is a Toshiba

im just not sure if the enhancements the clevo has over the toshiba are worth 650
