USB powered neon for keyboard?
 

I was browsing through my local Autozone and saw some 4" neon lights and thought it would be cool to install them behind the keys of my keyboard. They are 12v DC but I was wondering if they would function off the 5V supply from the usb hub built into my keyboard. Just wondering if anyone had tried something similar or had any suggestions.
