flat panel gaming

What is the best flat panel monitor for gaming? I hear xga is better than tft. I am looking for a 15" model. Thanks

check tomshardware they have a good section. Also, i'd recommend more than 15 inch, at least 16 if not 17.. it's worth it

I don't personally have one, but have been looking into getting an LCD (however, I'm looking to get a 21" or 22"). I think the main factor you want to look for is the lowest pixel refresh rate available. I believe 0.25 ms is the fastest on the market at the moment.

Other than that, it's highly recommended that you go try it out in a store, prior to purchasing. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

something like NEC

Alienware gaming systems use them because they are crisp, fast, and bright

I use the Sceptre X7 Naga 17" LCD. It's one of the lowest priced LCD's there is and I play just about every game out there and have absolutly no problems what so ever. I woudn't trade it for anything... I luv it! :)
