bin files
Im downloading ....a certain file........ i wont mention on here a PROGRAM that is a .bin file it is a game...... how do i start up the program when it is a bin file?

Bin files are usually archives or CD-Images.
I have attached a nifty little program to this thread that will allow you to convert the .bin to a .iso so you can burn it. cheers... |

not only that, but he doesn't give credit where it's due. I think there's a newer version of that converter out there somewhere, though i'm not sure about that. but if you grab a program that mounts images, they will often do a better job than biniso. i think nero image drive will work, as well as clone cd virtualdrive. oh, and alcohol 120 is getting very popular as well (i think it's even surpassing clonecd in some circles). just remember: virus scanners are your friend.
