Need help with Web Site stuff...

A big part of my grade this semester deals with creating my own web site. So far, we have only covered the basics of HTML but I still have to start work on my personal web site. We can use anything we want in it and I really would like it too look good.

Does anyone know of any web sites that I can get cool looking graphics for navigation bars or menus that can be inserted into a relativly simple web site?

Macromedia Dreamweaver or Flash is pretty cool to use... I would stick to Dreamweaver for beginners... Once you get the hang of things, you should start with Flash... It'z kinda tough... Macromedia has some really great tutorials that you can go through...

bah, flash shouldn't be used for a websites main navigation or content, it's fine for some stuff (like entertainment sites) but you shouldn't rely on it for design

dreamweaver is highly recommended, some tips, keep away from javascript and DHTML where you can, try and make it look as good as you can with plain X/HTML and CSS

Although using Dreamweaver or Flash would make things easy, I don't think that would be consistant with what the class is about.

I'm just looking for some resources that I can get some graphics from instead of having to create them myself.
