What are the basics of hacking?

Yeah, I'm willing to learn how to hack. What are the basics? And what do I have to do as the first step?

Keefe? Did you mean Omega? If so, I'd take that bet. I'm way too 1337 to need a 1337 sp34k g3n3r4t0r. You can tell it's custom made, because I picked and chose where to use 1337 speak (ex: b377ar alias th4n meta).

well meta, start off with about 5+ years of hardware, network, and programming experience each, then you can call yourself a professional..

then maybe a little later you can call yourself a hacker.

in other words you just really have to have a different kind of drive to be a hacker. not an 'oh it will be cool if i could do that, just tell me what to do' type deal.
