We all know how the blaster and sobig messed up the computer industry and many home users, now here is another potential threat we need to stop before it is too late.

HERE is the flaw explained.

I haven't updated for a week or more.. and i just checked and there are no updates, maybe it's old and news just came out.. :confused:

on the site, windows 2000 is listed under the "supported Operating systems", but there's not a download for it. hmmm

My WinSE box keeps installing this update. I have not found any fixes on the MS site or other tech sites. Any ideas here?

Same here. Windows Update repeatedly brings up this patch, even when I run it immediately after having installed it.

Rebooting brings no relief to this vicious cycle. :/
