is K++ safe?

I really dont have the money to deal with a law suit, but i miss my kazaa. Is it safe?

Jason425 09-04-2003 07:41 PM

be smart.. and it is..

Grinnin Reaper 09-04-2003 08:28 PM

so far I've had no trouble with it.

To Make Kazaa safe:

1. Use the default kazaalite username that 1,000s of people use

2. Ban the RIAA -> http://www.techwarelabs.com/communit...pic.php?t=4513

3. Change your MAC address on your NIC, if you can.

4. Disable sharing

Note: File sharing only works if people still share.

yea.. i share one file.. just dont let people see your list *some option in there*

Keefe 09-04-2003 11:20 PM

3. Change your MAC address on your NIC, if you can.

What do you mean?

Jason425 09-05-2003 07:05 PM

i know what a mac address is.. but i see no way to change it..

Ryon 09-09-2003 12:27 AM

Alot of routers, if your using one will allow you to clone a mac address

gnogtr 09-14-2003 01:26 AM

Mine does. I have a Linksys 2.4 Ghz router. Just type in the Ip and the password and just change the Mac address ever so often.
