PDA fuel cells

The Boys at Geek.com have found that Hitachi is now working with cigarette lighter manufacturer Tokai to work on PDA fuel cells. So far they claim to have developed a fuel cell the size of a AA battery that could power a PDA for 8 hours.

is it rechargable?

Jason425 12-12-2003 10:43 PM

I assume so, since I think all fuel cells are. My educated guess.

I wouldn't see much of a benifit to users unless it was. I would have to guess they would cost considerably more than a standard battery so unless it was rechargable I can't figure out how it would that much better.

LiIon batteries about that size lasts Clie just as long as well
