::: New website

Hi there Netsmog mates !

We've finally finished our new website,
so you may want to jump to www.binarica.com and submit your opinion (which is obviously important).

Cheers
Chef

p.s. I would like to thank Wizbones for support  8)

I see that youve upgraded to Mighty...lol!  Hey the site aint that  bad!   :D   It has mostly anything your really need, for the most part.  I like the color sceme and the overall look...kinda gives it a calm, today kinda look. However there is one thing that i would change on that site....the pics man!  I didnt see very many pics on the site at all... :-/  That is what will entise and attract your audience on staying at the site, as well as the usefull information.  Good job on the site!

Agreed with Soccer_Stud, and make it load faster if possible. Also, there is an error you should know about...under the "software" pull-down, it says drivres or something where it should say drivers.

PICS do not a site make, in fact you're asking for faster loading and in the same breath asking for more graphics. Well doesn't that make it slower?  ;D

Promising looking site Mighty_Chef keep up the great work. I've got my link to you added already  8)

Well, not wishing to sound like a critic, but could you increase the print size a notch or two ?  That is on the front page. Seems like available space on there for that. Us old folgies with bifocals find it hard to read.
Also could you bring up the intensity some on the 0's and 1's graphic ? Other than that it looked very good to me.

yeah chef...i can see how u couldn't possibly ad pics as well as speed it up, the site was good and fast to me, though...but u dont have to add pics if u dont wanna...what u lack in pics, u make up for in info!!!

Re: ::: New website

thanks for comments !
Binarica.com is mostly about info indeed, speed was my great concern, since most of today's users have standard serial modem connection
It is targeted for individual who needs support and not looking for shiny graphics but I think our art director did a good job anyway  :D browser compatibility was also an issue. Basically it looks OK with any existing one (except for hotjava) and old IE.
about fonts, it was also tested on 14" 800x600 and I think it looks just fine. When you use large fonts it's hard to cover text areas. MS Sans Serif 8' was used and it is standard windows font since W95, so I suppose windows users are regular for it.
