Epson Stylus Printer problems
 

I was wondering if anyone can helpme with regards to my Epson Stylus Plus C42 series printer.

It has just stopped working and when i turn it on the red and green just flash alternately and the error message which is given is that my "service lifetime has expired, contact dealer".

The printer is only 6 months old and I believe there is nothing wrong with the printer, as I checked all the jets etc. It seems like a program problem.

SinceI am aware of how Epson havemade there printers, could it be that you have to download something in order to bypass this error in order to be able to service it yourself?

I suggest going to http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/index.jsp and d/l latest drivers

how long is the epson warranty? I'd give them a call irreguardless... I hate printers..
