in austria we´d say this case is very potent. mybe the owner is a "d i c k" (sorry for the bad language, but in this case[ ;D i managed to use the case joke again])

I remember someone wanting to do that before (the fur part :p), but they decided it'd be too insulatory.  I figure if you had enough airflow though, it'd be fine.  I'm not sure what would inspire someone to want that on the front of their case though... ::)

That and some wall to wall carpeting and
one has to use anti-static devices to touch the thing ;D
