That is a pretty good deal... And i have heard a lot of good things about the IBM Deskstar drves.

Yup! I have two of them already and I have nothing but praise for those drives. They're real workhorses.  ;D

Buy one more and set up RAID-5 for ultra fast and redundant data storage...  That is what the servers are running.

I have the 75GXP 46.1GB drive (just one unfortunately so no RAID).  What is the main difference between the 75GXP and the 60GXP drives.  Are they both of fairly equal value and ability?  Just curious.

The 75GXP has a storage capacity of 75 GB and the 60GXP can only go up to 60 GB.  Both are 7200 rpm drives and have the Ultra ATA/100 interface.  They also have an ave. seek time of 8.5 ms.  Here's where they differ slightly.  The 70 GXP is faster with a sustained transfer rate of 37 MB/sec compared to 40 MB/sec for the 60GXP.  Not too bad there.
