Add/Remove Programs button dead??

After trying to install my Serial ATA drivers from hell I had some problems.

The self installing driver hit about 50% and then coughed up this error: "key.ini not found". It then continued the installation. I was nervous about this so I tried to open ADD/Remove Programs to see if it had loaded them etc.

I got this error: "Value Creation failed at " line 472". This pissed me off and I immediately sent an email to Gigabyte. I'm sure you all know how fast they responded..............I'll let you know what they say if I own my current email address that long......:-)

Has anyone heard of this error and do you know how to possibly fix it? I had to reinstall my video drivers and Windows Media player after this driver install.

Concerning the errors and reloading of video drivers etc.....

I am assuming that the installing of the serial ATA drivers somehow messed up those two drivers....(Video and Windows media)

Why the Windows Media program failed is beyond me??
