trouble with ftp sites
 

I've been trying to loacte some info on an old ASUS board, got to the ASUS site fine.   But apparently they're having some problems with their site.  One of their techs e-mailed me back and suggested I use their ftp site.  When I tried it it started to launch ok, but just a couple of seconds later it stopped downloading and then my mouse started flickering really fast & had to use program manager to end task.  I had this happen at a couple of other ftp sites, but also used quite a few with no problem.  Thanks to all for the input.

what FTP program are you using?  I run into that same problem a lot with WS_FTP.  I recommend using CuteFTP pro.  It is much better and faster the WS.
