I would claim looking at paint colors on a monitor is a bad idea, considering the massive variation you'll get from the monitor output and the pictures themselves. There are some technologies to cut down on this variation, but the website has to implement them as well, and they are not very popular. SO...yea. Take a quick trip to your local hardware store.

yeah definately local hardware stores is better

and nice hardware stores have different lights for you to see what the paint looks like under incandescent, florecent, spot....
plus you can take the sample strips and use them as bookmarks

ahh.. it's been too long since i've gone down to my "local hardware store" and looked at paint under different lighting.. i should really do that sometime! j/p ;) yea especially if you're looking at paint colors on an lcd.. not the best idea..

i didn't actually mean look a the actuall paint color, just the names of the colors. i mean, this is gonna be for my first case mod, so really to me a grey is a grey. thanks for your advice though, maybe i'll make a trip in a week or so.
