I remember signing up to get that book long time ago.  I received it and it's actually a pretty good book.  As far as some other free tech books are concerned, sorry that I do not have any information at this time.  I'll remember to post it on here when I do run across them though.

I have to admit I was sceptical, but it ended up being a pretty good book, has a great Servers for Dummys system.
