What is the Best Linux Dist for Enterprise

Ah...The question that cannot be answered........

"All of the distros face an uphill battle when it comes to the desktop, says Gartner analyst Michael Silver. Most enterprises have a legacy investment in Windows that makes migration an unwieldily task. "There's not a clear answer in terms of how that's going to be done by any of them."

SuSE and Debian are my picks... ibm backs suse through novell. and ibm's major distro is redhat.

is kde getting pushed under or is gnome? :O

Its hard to say which linux is the best, but according to me , I'd have to say Gentoo for extreme peformance and speed. Though harder to learn. Not recommended for newbies..unless you wanna be like me and read like crazy than install it from scratch , ... with no programming experince.. just a piece of paper and a pen :)

I've seen RH in the field a lot along with SuSe.
