ICQ file transfer problems because of firewall
 

I'm having a problem getting file transfers to work with ICQ.  I have a Linksys 4 port router that has the built-in firewall. Does anybody know how I can configure ICQ to go through the firewall?  Thanks!

what ICQ version are you using?

The version that I'm using is the newest one...I believe it's 2000b if I'm not mistaken.

i believe the ICQ port is 1080. configure your router to open up that port :)

If the transfer through Port 1080 doesn't work, 1081 and also 1082 works, but they're not as reliable  :P
