Warcraft 2 BNE NAPT help

Ever since i got DSL i have not been able to play
warcraft games on battle net with more than 2 people
in them. It seems that i can sign on battle net, join
chat rooms, see games, and play games with 2
human players or less in them just fine. As soon as i
join a game with more than 2 human players, like a
2x2 or 3x3, the game ends up lagging out and
dropping everyone. the modem i have is a
Speedstream 5660 DSL modem in DHCP mode serving
3 other computers on my LAN. NAPT is enabled with
port 6112 open for sending and recieving UDP and
TCP packets. one thing i have noticed is that when i
join a game with people in it and view my NAPT map, i
see 1 ip address using port 6112 UDP for every player
in the game im playing. for example: if the game im
in is a 2x2 i will see 4 entries in the NAPT map. the
NAPT map reports 6112 being used for LAN and WAN
side. I also notice some odd port being used for TCP
that changes regularly. I am able to HTTP into my
modem for any configurations i may need to make.

any help would be greatly appreciated. this has been
picking my brain forever.
