Sasser Worm Author Caught.
 

A Gerrman 18 year old teen is responsible for the mayhem caused around the world by his worm, and susbequent variations.

I wonder if chinese water torture is legal?

Extradite him and put him to work correcting problems caused by his worm.

yea real smart kid.. i'd bet that most programmers don't like things like that because it gives them a bad image..

With years of schooling (when this kid has been in his basement since he was born) most programmers couldn't even pull this one...

good image or bad image... he pulled it off successfully.. we're talking about a 18 year old guy here, our age, making a virus infecting schools, enterprises, and home users around the world.. If thats not incredible, I don't knwo what is..

sasser (the first) was a poorly written piece of code as I've heard.. noobette.. blaster is a first class piece of engineering..

both were smart IMO... blaster just pissed off more poeple incuding myself :mad:

tsk tsk .. if you had your comp patched or had a firewall (everyone should.. ) you wouldn't have gotten it!
