Riven: The sequel to Myst
 

I got this game like 4 years ago when I had my old pentium II Compaq and i played it on there and it was awesome! Now that I have XP im afraid that riven isnt compatible with this type of OS. I have installed it but everytime i double click on the "autoplay" icon or try to run the program it doesnt work... Any suggestions? :confused: :confused:

Have you tried any of the Compatibility Modes?

look for a patch.. or you're sol

i went on the broderbound website and got the patch but still no dice.. I downloaded VDMsound and everything that should take away compatibility issues.... i dunno its quite frustrating....

Use a win 98 emulator maybe?

or partition for dual boot

or maybe your cd just sucks/dirty?

has to be something like that.. cuz *seond-to-best game ever] i have it on mine.

wait dragon are u using XP? and it didnt even prompt me for a cd key. :P

XP pro yeah... and riven doesnt have a CD key.. i have legit copy
