The RIAA Sues 482 More People
Today the RIAA said they have sued another group of people, 482 to be exact, for copyright infringement. The RIAA used their 'John Doe' litigation process in this round of law suits, because they do not know the names of the copyright infringers. After appeals court ruled that Verizon does not have to provide names of customers to the RIAA, the RIAA started using the 'John Doe' litigation process.
This is getting ridiculous, Im betting they lose more money than they make suing everyone on the planet. They need to get a clue and realize people don't like paying 200-300% inflated prices for CD's. Check the story here. |
I agree. This is getting downright rediculous. I have a strong feeling however, that soon this whole RIAA industry will crumble under it's own weight.

haha I allways said EFFE the RIAA. IM still downloading and if they wanna sue me for my 75 songs of which I have 50 on cd, then go ahead, its pointless
|
they probably will.. then we'll see who is laughing.. ;)
|
yea the RIAA scare me, i dont wanna be sued for 200,000 dollars. but at the same time i wonder what the ratio is of downloaders who havent been busted to downloaders who have gotten busted.

that's an expensive gamble though...

And you do it. I would rely on peer guardian forever :/
