is 39.5C ~ 50.00C degrees sufficient?

Everytime I see my temps hit 45C when i play CS i get scared and i think its way too hot, i freak out when it hits 50C. I have a watercooled system and 3 fans in my case. It should be sufficient. My cable managemnt is pretty poor though. Is there any way i could make the liquid cooler? Or use a different substance like Free-on? Or air condition my system? Post suggestions please..

... I set Asus PC PROBE to beep at me when it gets over 55C.. been doin that for a long time.. you'll be fine @ 50..

yea ok, I do that to with hardware Doctor, It came on a disc with my Abit IS7 Mobo, but Is there any way to keep the water in it always cold? Like use ice cubes? Maybe make a mini fridge in my computer? Or a different substance that always stays cold??

Heck, my watercooled system runs at 46 right now because I'm doing stuff with it. It hit 53 when I was playing Far Cry the other day...

.. ice cubes? then it melts and goes all over everything? You're fine where you're at, or just get a better kit.. water is water...

Yeah, water rises to whatever temp the hardware gets too, and it maintains one fluid temp, so you can really drop it more when blowing air throught it unless you're running it through a compressor, but that causes condensation, so that's a good no-no...

So should I just put more fans in my case?

6 fans.. that's gonna be loud..

gnogtr 07-29-2004 12:40 AM

Hmmm...I have 7 fans and they really aren't that loud...I have the TT silent fans though, and they are really silent, oh wait, I forgot my psu, that brings my total to 9 fans and my comp is almost as quiet as my laptop when its fans are running. That case is cool too, it's a full tower and that's what's needed these days. I love my server case, so big....so heavy....
