How do I find the temps of my GPU and NB?
I overclock my Graphics card alot and I was just wondering is there any program that I could use to determine the temperature of it when it is being overclocked? And also the Northbridge too because I bought a new cooler for it because my old Abit one was too loud and I wanna see how cool that gets too. So if there are any programs that will show me this please let me know.

The mobo has to be recording those temps, and I don't know of any mobo that records the NB temp.. get sensors and do it that way, that's probably the most accurate anyway.

no, you're pwned because you still don't get your NB temp.. what.. 8)

Actually he might because Abit recently released better monitoring software for some of the newer boards including his. Here's the link NaPsTeR... See if that helps!

for a true detection, i would get sensors and superglue them onto the side of the chips

hmm, i know in linux the nvidia-settings tool records the temperature of my nvidia graphics card (i don't know about ati). For the most part, coolmon and motherboardmonitor do a great job of recording temps and whatnot.

it's the sensor on the mobo that makes the diff, not the prog..

often sensors arent placed as closed to the chip as possible
so glueing your own sensors to the dies would get you the most accurate readings |
