Website

So I want to start a website.

What do I need to do? I dont know HTML or anything. I can use frontpage or something and learn the html from there.

1.Who provides good cheap hosting.
2.What is another opensource alt. to Frontpage?
3.Once I have purchased a domain or the such how do I access it and put content on it?

Thanks

1. http://www.webhostfreaks.com/
2. Mozilla Editor (built into Mozilla)
3. The domain and the webspace are purchased seperately (except some hosts offer domain purchases too)

does webhost freaks offer domain as well?

Uranium-235 08-09-2004 07:12 PM

no, they don't, I know some do, webhostfreaks is my fav cause they install PHP with everything, but I guess that dosen't really apply to you since I bet you're just going to make static HTML pages.

there's a number of really good ones that I don't remember offhand
