NTLDR is missing
 

so i just finished building my first pc:

AMD 64 3200
ASUS K8V-SE deluxe
seagate 80gb
BFG geforce 6800gt-OC

so i go and format my hardrive to support windows xp, insert the OS CD as it states, restart and boom, when it tried to boot from the cd i get the "NTLDR is missing. press <ctrl>+<alt>+<del> to restart" i have no idea what this means, or how to go about fixing this.

somebody please help...
