Default Re: New video card problems

Not sure what operating system you are running assuming it is a Windows one.  When it comes to Unreal Tournament and Geforce 2 and above cards it is best to leave the graphic settings at there default and tweak them from with in the game rather then manually from the system.ini file in the Unreal Tournament subdirectory.  Manually tweaking the game for better graphics visually tends to mess up the game as the Geforce 2 cards don't like it.  All so the second CD that comes with Unreal Tournament is a waste unless you have a high end computer as it really does not improve graphics all that much visually on a Geforce 2 card and can cause a perfomance drop on some machines.

As you don't actually state what Geforce 2 card you are running I will assume it is not a MX card.  Over all Unreal Tournament should run smooth and be superior to your old Voodoo 3 card, as I owned one a few years back and got into the Nvidia market for graphic cards.  I started by first upgrading to a Geforce 2 MX, I'm now running a Geforce 2 Ti in both cases I found the cards to be superior in both performance and graphics.
