i disagree with above...

MDK yea can be used as a plain alternative to Doze if u let it, you can still use CLI and learn about linux while also having a nice gui to go back to every once in a while if you really cockup and need some help off the net

im a linux n00b myself but so far everyone has recommended mdk first,then tryout slackware
