Yes, they didn't have enough power if that fixed it. You're outlet probably can't take that much load, so I would try spreading all your stuff out to prevent problems in the future. Even if you do not add anything, keeping your outlet almost maxxed out can prevent your computer from staying on during a spike which will cause damage to it.
