Rage3D has posted up a comparison of 8 different Radeon 8500 bioses. The bioses are clocked a variety of speeds and benchmarked under 3dmark2001SE.

You know what really sucks? Testing a whole pile of BIOS files, reflashing your video card countless times, double and triple checking scores and entering a Dragolithic autistic mental state, only to discover that the original (old) BIOS file is the best. ATI seems to have got it right the first time.
