Well, it depends on your use. If you are going to do stuff with lots of big files often, Rambus will suite you better, but for most things, DDR would waste Rambus, because Rambus has a relatively high latency time, which means it takes longer to respond, but once it returns data, it returns it very fast. That is why big files work better on Rambus (once it coems it is all there fast, DDR will be slightly longer), but not well on common files, for almost every application of the RAM.
