Just wanted to drop a line and say if you for some odd reason do not have one, you better get one, I have never had a spike that I know of, but tonight about 1/2hour ago I got a big one, actually killed my belkin protector and enough got through to make me have to reset my mobo which I found odd, I thought it killed it as first for it would not even boot, so far no damage. I always have used a protecter of average value but always wondered if one would ever come in handy! Boy they sure do, I cannot afford to rebuild my darth vader pc which some have called it *L*
