sorry
i was thinking of the PS2
but again, i might think wrong too
ok, i just dug out my Maximum PC mag of the Jan. 2002 edition
shows a comparison of Xbox and a PC
Xbox actualy carries a P3-773MHz
but xbox only has 8GB of hard drive
and it uses 64MB of 200MHz DDR ram shared between CPU and graphics
half of the cheapest PC that comes with...
Core Logic chipset is nice, Nvidia takes the matter seriously and the bandwidth between CPU and GPU is 6.4GB/sec better than a cheapy comp
the GPU, NV2x is nice
speed that is a bit faster than Geforce3
but AGP8x graphic cards and even Geforce 4 Ti sure beats that now
basicaly, making a Xbox into a PC is a special idea
but while PC's technology expands daily, xbox is still sitting around with not much advancements
