OK, after figuring out my Athlon was really good for gaming, I do decide to go for computer gaming.  HOWEVER!  There are some games that are only on console that are for computer.  And I know emulation is solving alot of these problems, most computers still will not run PS/2 or X-Box games.

So, I guess it depends on the game, and where it can be found.
