The format of the 2k box drive doesn't matter. Mine is NTFS and have never had any trouble.
The issue here is permissions and who has the right to view it. Any box that I connect to my network under my workgroup can see my shares. But to access them they need to login to the 2k box. I've set up a guest account for this and just type in the guests password and I'm in like flin
