I gave the origianl system to the wife and built a new one same components except the case etc.
This is a v1.04 and the sound is as loud in all channels.
The problem is the SS rear channel sound is not coming from the rear speakers.
I was on the phone with ASUS tech again and they was listening to the speakers via the phone and they stated I was not gonna get this any better than this.
I have installed the Santa Cruz into this system and all is well with the sound.
I have come to this conclusion, The only way these speakers are going to work with this mobo would be if I could hook them up via S/PDIF or Fiber optics.
If anyone has an idea of a converter I could get to connect to the fiber optics adapter I have and would have the proper three sound out for these speakers to plug into. I would appreciate it, letting me know.
