Chances are you are going to need those SATA drivers. Your motherboard should have come with a floppy disk that contains the SATA drivers. It might be within a white envelope, at least that is how mine came. If, for some reason, you dont have them just go to Giga-byte's website and download the newest sata drivers and copy them to a disk.
