Well as long as your BIOS is fine then you can recover. All it affected was your hard drive's data. Make a floppy boot disk from downloads from
www.bootdisk.com; I'd suggest a ME and maybe even a 98 boot disk and suggest against a 2000 or XP boot disk. Go into your BIOS and set the boot order to boot to floppy first. That should take you to DOS prompt. If you want to boot off of a CD, make a bootable CD and use the files you'd be putting on the floppy.
