i got my phone during the summer of 2001 (i was 20). i have the same phone, i paid for it, and i pay the bills. i got it to call my then fiance long distance, and to call my parents and friends who are long distance. thats still the main use for the phone. though my wife carries it with her now, i make her carry it in case somthing happens to her.
