i have same mobo...and a seagate 80 gig SATA...i found the drivers on the CD...at least i think i found the right ones...i instaled XP once...but i messed some other stuff up with my bios so im starting over...now, whether i have the drivers or not, i get a blue screen that says an error has occured an the OS was shut down to prevet damage. I also get a black screen that says Award Tecnologies or something and it has a box and in the top half of the box it says LIKE
AMD Processor :Athlon(tm) XP

and the comp doest do anything...just sits there with a flashing cursor under the "P"

any ideas on how to get my mobo and sata and XP to get long? (at least i think those are the 3 things having roblems)


oh for the driver for the serial chip, im pretty sure they are in the folder thats like BootDsk or DiskBoot or something...run the menu.exe...select the SiL one and pick the drivers u need...or maybe it just does it automatically (puts the files on the floppy) so have a floppy in (preferably blank)
