this is what some people call the "blue screen of death". i got it occansionally while overclocking. as a matter of fact by sending my ram to high. go into your bios and look for "failsafe defaults" or something similar, if you cant find it, try tuning everything you can in bios down to optimal or less, but be careful not to tuch any clock settings or any numbers in general. either way, its sounds like a bios problem. when is the last time you cleaned out the inside of your case?maybe its just dirty.
you might also find SiSoft sandra and run the tune up wizard - sometimes it finds the problem.
if all else fails, buy more/new ram - XP eats a ton anyway.
